Candidates are invited to enroll in the WHO’s Free Online Courses with Free Certificates. The World Health Organization’s Online Courses are offered in over 20 languages and are open to anyone. Read: UNICEF free online courses with certificates

All candidates from around the world are eligible to enroll in WHO’s Free Online Courses. The best thing about WHO’s courses is that they are self-paced, meaning you can take as much time as you need to complete a course.

The courses are free and there is no fee charged, and you will also receive a free certificate. There are two types of certificates: Records of Achievement and Confirmations of Participation.

About OpenWHO

OpenWHO is the new interactive web-based platform of WHO that offers online courses for people preparing to work in epidemics, pandemics, and health emergencies, or already doing so.

The OpenWHO platform offers WHO and partner expertise closer to where it is needed and provides information in easy-to-use formats for frontline responders and decision-makers. The platform is managed by the Learning and Capacity Development Unit of WHO’s Health Emergencies Programme.

Users participate in a global social learning network based on interactive online courses and materials covering a variety of subjects. OpenWHO also serves as a forum for the rapid sharing of public health knowledge and in-depth discussion and feedback on key issues.

 

About WHO Free Online Courses With Certificates

The OpenWHO platform provides a global network of social learning through interactive online courses and materials that cover a range of subjects. In addition, it serves as a forum for the rapid sharing of public health knowledge and in-depth discussion and feedback on key issues. Overall, WHO Courses and OpenWHO are crucial tools in enhancing the preparedness and response to health emergencies.

Types of Courses:

There are three levels of WHO courses, such as basic, intermediate, advanced, and there are 4 levels:

  • Outbreak: Introduces knowledge and tools on specific diseases.
  • Go social: Focuses on cross-cutting interventions such as risk communication.
  • Ready for response: Discusses humanitarian response and the best way to engage in emergency situations.
  • Preparing for pandemics: Brings together courses on various aspects of flu events.

How to enroll in WHO’s online courses:

To enroll in WHO online courses, follow these steps:

  • Create an account on the OpenWHO platform (https://openwho.org/).
  • Check your email for a confirmation message. Once you have received the confirmation message, click on the link to confirm your account.
  • Once your account is confirmed, login to the OpenWHO platform.
  • Browse the available courses and select the one you want to enroll in.
  • Click the “Enroll in the Course” button.
  • With your account confirmed and logged in to the OpenWHO platform, you will be able to access the course materials and begin learning at your preferred pace.

Remember that WHO online courses are free and there is no deadline for completion. In addition, you will receive a free certificate when you complete the course.
